Whether you’re running a big job, working to a tight client deadline or coordinating with other trades, getting the materials and equipment you need, when you need them, matters – a lot.
A new update to the Bunnings Trade PowerPass App is set to streamline online and in store ordering, saving you time and keeping jobs moving smoothly. Here’s how it works and benefits your business.
The update to the Bunnings Trade PowerPass App means you can:
There are now multiple ways to shop when you have the PowerPass App. These are:
Choosing whether to buy what you need through the app online or in store gives you more flexibility to fit purchasing around your workday, saving you time and keeping jobs moving – especially if you're running a business, Josh says. “Instead of having your staff make a 20- or 30-minute round trip to Bunnings, you can get it delivered from the PowerPass App. It cuts down on travel time and wages,” he explains.
Tip: Check out the other ways you can use the PowerPass App to save you time.
Whether you shop online or in store, your receipts and purchasing information are stored in the PowerPass App, helping to make record keeping easier and tax time less stressful. The app also allows you to view your online order history in the app just like on the website. This means no more searching for paper receipts in the back of the van and more time onsite completing jobs. “Having both the online order histories and in store receipts in the app is definitely a big benefit because everything is in one place,” Josh says.
The new update means PowerPass members can shop online or in store and maintain separate shopping carts in each. “If you add 10 products to online with the intent to get them delivered, and then on the way home from work you stop at Bunnings because you need to get a few packs of screws or a personal item, you can switch to in-store mode and scan those items to purchase them without disrupting your online cart,” Josh explains. You can also add items to your cart on the website and they will appear in the online mode of the app, and vice versa, helping to streamline purchases.
Being able to synchronise your cart between the PowerPass App and the Bunnings Trade website gives you ease of flexibility. Ever wanted an easy way to scan items into your online cart? No problem. Scan them using the app, and finish the purchase on your computer. Or what about starting an order on the website, getting distracted and wanting to finish it on the train on the way home through the app? Can do. “You can start in one place and finish in another,” Josh says.
1. What are three reasons I should download the PowerPass App today?
There are a stack of benefits when it comes to downloading the PowerPass App. But here are the top three:
2. How do I install the latest version of the PowerPass App?
Search “PowerPass” in Google Play or Apple App Store and select “Update”.
3. My PowerPass App isn’t working. How do I report an issue?
Contact our Customer Support Centre or visit us in store and one of our friendly Team Members will be happy to support you. You can reach us at 1800 797 586 or you can send us an email at customersupport@bunnings.com.au or, alternatively, in the app, head to “Account” and “Support”.
4. Can I create product lists in the PowerPass App?
Yes. You can create lists for your jobs and sharing with your Teams in the PowerPass App.
5. Where can I find eReceipts? And how can I share and save them on my device?
Transactions linked to your card will be available to you through “Account” and then “E-Receipts” or via the Home page. Open the receipt you’d like to share or save and then tap “Share Receipt”. This creates a PDF file, easy to download and store or for sharing.
One thing to note: Receipts will only be shown for the active PowerPass card in the app. Remember to select the relevant card under the Accounts section to see the relevant receipts.
