Our standard membership option is designed for businesses and sole traders who are looking for a long term supplier partner they can rely on. This is available to customers with a valid ABN or ACN.

To successfully complete the application, please have available:

  • Your ABN or ACN (not required for Apprentices or Owner Builders). You will require the trustee details if you are applying under a trust ABN.

Apprentices don't need to wait to be qualified to benefit from a PowerPass membership. Apprentices can access the benefits of a Standard membership without an ABN. To apply you will simply need to upload your Apprentice registration number and documentation in the application.

Customers who are building or renovating their home can also benefit from PowerPass with our Owner Builder membership. Valid for three years, this membership type allows members to access all the benefits available to Standard members. If your project is incomplete by this time, contact us before expiry for an extension.

To apply, you will need to upload a current Owner Builder Permit issued by your local council or authorised state authority.

If you're applying for credit you will need to supply the following:

  • Directors/Partners/Sole Proprietors information. This includes driver's licence, date of birth and residential address of each partner.
  • Your business's accounts payable contact details, including postal address and email address for accounts.
  • Financial information such as turnover, assets and liabilities.

To provide our members access to even greater value, PowerPass is now accepted in-store at Tool Kit Depot stores in South Australia and West Australia.

Yes, you can obtain the Cash Only benefits today. Please go to the Trade Desk at your local store. The team will require your business details and can provide you with a Temporary Paper Card. Alternatively, in Step 3 of the online application please select Yes 'Temporary Paper Card Required' and this will be emailed to you directly.

Cards take up to 12 working days to arrive however if you applied prior to that then please contact the PowerPass Support team on 1800 980 050 during business hours, email powerpass@bunnings.com.au or 'contact us' through www.trade.bunnings.com.au/PowerPass.

If you've applied for credit you will be contacted via email within 5 working days. If you've not been contacted, please call 1800 980 050 during business hours or email applications@bunnings.com.au.

You must sign the back of your card and bring photo ID into a Bunnings store or Trade Centre to get your card activated (it cannot be done over the phone or on-line). The photo ID must match the name on the card and the signature on the back otherwise the card cannot be activated. You will be required to set up your 4 digit Pin in-store as well. Note: Cash cards do not require activation. Please note, PowerPass cards can’t be activated at Tool Kit Depot stores.

No. Bunnings products can only be ordered from the Bunnings website. Tool Kit Depot products can only be ordered from Tool Kit Depot stores or toolkitdepot.com.au.
PowerPass is accepted at Bunnings nationally and in-store at only Tool Kit Depot.
No. PowerPass is only available at Bunnings and in-store at Tool Kit Depot. This means we can now provide our trade customers access to more value on a wider range of products they need. PowerPass is not available at Beaumont Tiles.

Yes, you can use your Commercial PowerPass card for a Special Order. If your Commercial PowerPass was used and a refund is required, the amount will be refunded back on to your account. The tender cannot be returned another way.

No. There are no 'points' or schemes associated with the PowerPass.

Yes, all PowerPass members including apprentices and temporary cards can access exclusive PowerPass pricing when shopping online at www.toolkitdepot.com.au. Simply add items to your cart and click “Add PowerPass discount” at checkout. You will be prompted to login with your Bunnings Trade PowerPass username and password. If you don’t have online access to the Bunnings Trade website yet, you can register via this link: https://trade.bunnings.com.au/setup-powerpass-online-access.

No. PowerPass pricing is not available on Festool and Fein.
The www.toolkitdepot.com.au website supports debit, credit card, PayPal and Zip Pay payments. At this stage PowerPass credit is not transactable at Tool Kit Depot. PowerPass credit customers can still access PowerPass pricing by checking out with one of the supported payment options outlined.

Flybuys points cannot be collected on purchases made using a PowerPass credit, cash or 30-day account. PowerPass customers can choose to collect Flybuys points or continue to receive their PowerPass benefits.
