Don’t miss our meet and greet from 2.00pm - 3.30pm with Supercars superstars Nick Percat and James Golding!

Driver of car #10 at Team Bendix Racing, Nick won the Bathurst 1000 in 2011 and has been racing well in 2025 so far having finished 2nd in Race 5 at The Australian Grand Prix a fortnight ago.

From PremiAir Racing, James is a competitive driver often placing in the top ten and had a breakout year in 2024 finishing 7th in the Championship overall.

Event purchases

We can transact purchases at the registers using our COS (Customer Order System). Customers will be able to place an order with the dedicated COS team to access the one-day only Expo deals. These orders will then be transferred to the fulfilling Warehouse/Trade Centre of the customer’s choice.

The relevant Trade Specialists will then contact the customer, order any special-order items, take any outstanding payments and arrange the pickup/delivery.

Frequently asked questions

There is limited parking available at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, access via Merivale Street. Please take your ticket upon entry into the car park and present it to a Bunnings Team member near the exit of the Expo Hall to receive a validated ticket.

There is also some overflow and over height car parking available in Halls 3 & 4 which can be accessed via the loading dock. However, we do encourage carpooling and Public Transport.

Entry heights are as follows:

  • Car Park 1: 2.3m
  • Car Park 2: 2.2m (Merivale or Melbourne St Entry) or 2.1m (Russell St Ramp)
  • Car Park 3: 2m (Merivale Street) or 2.1m (Grey St)

There are electric vehicle charging facilities at BCEC. Currently free for users, the Type 2 chargers are compatible with most brands of electric vehicles.

There are 3 chargers located in Car Park 1 and 4 chargers in Car Park 2.

BCEC is fully accessible. The main public entry is at the corner of Merivale & Glenelg Streets. A lift is located to the left of the entry stair. Accessible unisex toilets are located throughout the Centre and are located adjacent to major restroom blocks.

Guide dogs and registered assistance animals are welcome in all areas of the venue as per legislation requirements. We ask attendees to have certification for service animals and that their service animal is wearing a vest which identifies them as such.

By Train?

The closest train station is South Brisbane; only a few minute's walk away. A regular Air Train service operates between Brisbane’s international and domestic airports. Travelling time is approximately 25mins. Tickets are available from the Information Desk.

By Bus?

The Cultural Centre is the main hub for most bus routes, only a few minutes' walk away adjacent to the Queensland Performing Acts Centre. A Free Loop downtown bus service circles Brisbane’s Central Business District only.

By River Cat?

The CityCat Ferry stops at Southbank Terminal 2 which is located on the Clem Jones Promenade. CityCats run daily from 5.30am-10.30pm.

By Taxi?

A dedicated taxi rank is located at the main entrance of the Centre on the Cnr Merivale and Glenelg Streets. Taxis are also accessible in other locations in the South Bank precinct including the 2 hotels – Rydges and Mantra.

No smoking or vaping is permitted within the venue. If you wish to smoke, you may do so outside the venue keeping 5 metres clear of entry and exit doors.
