No build is complete without the workhorses of the home: electric kitchen appliances – ovens, cooktops, dishwashers and fridges. These items can make or break your client’s experience, so it's important to get them right.
The Kleenmaid range of ovens, cooktops and rangehoods and Bellini dishwashers are at the top of their game, with exceptional energy-efficient features.
The new Kleenmaid 900mm oven has a single convection fan and element, called a THERMAflow8. This system distributes heat evenly around all eight zones in the oven, ensuring consistent and even cooking.
Tip: This is something to mention if your client is a foodie and likes to cook.
The oven itself has 10 cooking functions, including an eco fan-forced option, an electronic timer, tangential cooling ventilation, cooking cavity with Ezy Kleen, and a triple-glazed removable door that’s easy to clean.
It has highly efficient insulation: the reflective inner glass panel makes sure the heat isn’t lost through the glass. It also has an energy-saving eco-function with faster preheating time.
Enhanced safety features mean your client will have complete peace of mind, with a child safety lock on the electronic controls, dual mount lighting and one level of extendable telescopic guides.
Like all Kleenmaid appliances, the oven comes with a five-year warranty on parts and labour.
This built-in cooktop is super-streamlined, blending in well with the surrounding benchtop. It features Eurokera vitro-ceramic glass and electronic sensor touch controls with nine heating levels and five cooking zones.
Its sustainability features are a significant selling point. As it’s electric, it will be more energy efficient than gas. This model also has heat reflective element bases, which are seven percent more efficient than standard ceramic hi-lite elements.
Safety comes first with induction cooktops. This model features an auto-stop in case of an accidental start, long absence, overflow or over-temperature issues. It also has residual heat indicators for each zone and a child safety lock.
This Kleenmaid model is whisper quiet at just 46dbA. It has three extraction speeds and a performance potential of up to 650m³/h, which is helpful for removing odours, smoke and grease from the home.
It’s another example of energy-efficiency. The clever design means that, when the visor is extended, it needs a lower motor speed to get the same level of smoke and steam clearance compared to a standard undermount range hood. The result is a massive 10 to 13 percent energy saving. This model also has a KwikFit easy-to-install system and a five-year warranty.
The Bellini fully integrated dishwasher is perfect if your client is looking to maintain smooth and uninterrupted cabinetry lines.
The sustainability features continue with this appliance. There’s a delay start function (three, six, or nine hours) which means your client can kick off the cycle when energy usage is off-peak, saving them money. In addition, the potential for water-saving is huge. There’s a half-load setting, an eco-wash setting that uses only 12.3L, and a rapid mode that uses only 11.5L. It’s for this reason that the Bellini fully integrated dishwasher has a 4.5-star water rating.
