The W-Cut thread delivers a faster drive into timber for quick and easy installation, while the aggressive thread increases pull-down speed and strength.

The screw also features serrated cutting ribs that effectively remove timber fibres to provide cleaner countersinking, while the clearing thread reduces driving torque at the final stage of installation.

Cleverly designed for one-handed operation, the T30 star drive recess with precision fit for positive bit engagement reduces bit wobble and is more resistant to “cam-out”. These screws are easier to install and they improve productivity for all tradies.

Premium quality and design

The Buildex rapiddrive bugle battens are available in 16 gauge for greater strength and they come in a range of five different sizes, from 50mm to 150mm lengths, depending on finish.

They come in three different finishes: galvanised zinc alloy 3, Climacoat for treated pine and stainless steel 316 for superior corrosion protection.
