AEG power tools – 18V 4.8mm compact rivet gun

If you have a lot of rivets to install in a day, this 18V rivet gun will do all the hard work for you. It makes short work of installing a metal roof, metal fencing, HVAC systems or any other metal fabrication job.

Features and benefits

Lightweight design
The rivet gun is around 50 percent lighter than its nearest competitor, weighing only 1.4kg without a battery. Its lightweight design helps to reduce strain from long-term use.

Compact and functional
The ultra-compact power screw mechanism is the shortest 18V available on the market with only a 156mm width when the mandrel catcher is removed. This means it can get into places a standard-sized rivet gun can’t fit.

 

This compact rivet gun provides an impressive 11kN pull force and has a rivet capacity of 2.4-4.8mm for aluminium, steel and stainless-steel rivets.

Auxiliary features 
The LED sight light helps locate pilot holes in dimly lit work sites or when better visibility is required. 

The removable mandrel catcher holds up to 300 1/8” mandrels and has an inbuilt wrench. After installing the rivet, simply tilt back the tool to eject the broken off mandrel. It’s also translucent so you can see when it’s filling up and needs emptying.

Four of the nozzles have bore retention to hold the rivet in place, which is especially useful when riveting downward into surfaces. 

 

Four nozzles can be stored on the tool, so you can have quick and easy access to your most-used nozzle sizes.
